Two Door Cinema Club

Indie rockers Two Door Cinema Club, from Bangor and Donaghadee, County Down, Northern Ireland, have gathered a huge cult following while the press had their backs turned. The band’s unstoppable rise has taken place virtually under the radar. Bangor's finest have suddenly come up on the rails: one music paper calls them "the band that can no longer be ignored". The electronics/guitar band make euphoric, instant-anthem sounds somewhere between Bloc Party and Foals's staccato rhythms. And, just in case you’re asking yourself, they’re named after a mispronunciation of Bangor's Tudor cinema.
